A Salute to our Roots’
To honour them, Sacred Heart High School , Guindy celebrated Grandparents Day on Wednesday , 26th July 2023.The Headzteacher addressed the gathering and reiterated the role of Grandparents in all our lives, as Grandparents are “ A little bit of parents, a little bit of teacher and a little bit of friend”.
The little tots of Junior KG came up with scintillating performance as they danced and sang to the melodious tunes based on the theme for the day “ Grandparents lend a helping hand “,
The performances by students left the spectators spellbound and thoroughly mesmerized.
The Grandparents appreciated and came forward to sing and dance. They enjoyed the interview round recalling their school days .
Primary students spoke on their grandparents and dedicated performances touching the heart.
Students played tabla and keyboard as a tribute to them.
Indeed the 2023 Grandparents Day was a memorable moment for our Grandparents and our School.
