Reading Inspirational Day

On the 15th of October, Maharashtra celebrates "Reading Inspirational Day" to honour the birth anniversary of former President Dr A.P.J Abdul Kalam and to promote the habit of reading. A special assembly was organised by Teacher Jenita Pereira and her students and conducted by Teacher Andrea Kinny to educate children about Dr Kalam's thoughts and the benefits of reading. Children brought their favourite storybooks and were given 30 minutes to read. Students enjoyed reading and sharing stories, which led to a period of excellent learning.
